General Info / FAQs

  • What are the policies regarding trip deposits and account balances ?
    • A $ 200. US deposit is required within 3 weeks of making a reservation.

  • What are the terms and conditions for refunds ?
    • Deposits are refundable with a notice of cancellation 8 weeks prior to the arrival date.
      *Please Note - A service charge may apply to any refunded deposits made with a credit card.

  • What transportation is available to & from the lodges ?
    • Our lodge is fly-in-only from Hornepayne, ON, an easy drive on Highway # 631. From Hornepayne, float plane trips are included in our package prices.

  • What are the lodge guide policies / rates ?
    • Upon arrival, all guests will receive a Nagagami Lake orientation, a detailed lake map and, if necessary, a lake tour. Guides are generally unnecessary except for catch & release back lakes (Pody, Hiawatha, Moose).

  • What accommodations and services are available at the lodge ?
    • Pullen's Nagagami Lodge is a housekeeping (HK) camp with deluxe log cabin accommodations, central facility (Rusty Lure Lodge).

  • What tackle / gear / outdoor clothing is needed ?
    • Light to medium-action spinning, baitcasting or flycasting (# 7/8/9) outfits are best suited for Nagagami Lake fishing. For inclement weather, bring waterproof footwear and quality rain gear. Don't forget a camera, film, binoculars, sunscreen, insect repellent, personal gear.

  • What fishing licence(s) are needed ?
  • What are the best fishing dates ?
    • Early season (May-June) fishing for all species (northern pike, walleyes, yellow perch, whitefish) is exceptional. In July & August, fish can be caught throughout the lake using a variety of tactics & tackle. In late season (September), the northern pike and whitefish angling is great and perch are caught all season long.

  • Is there emergency medical evacuation capability ?
    • Yes. The medical facility in Hornepayne is approx. 30 minutes (each way) by floatplane.
