Driving from Sault Ste Marie, 250-miles north to Hornepayne, Ontario, will normally take around 5 hours. Guests tend to spend a night in Hornepayne because your scheduled floatplane flight requires you to be at the base early the following morning. The base is only about 6 miles from town. You will be flown into the lodge by a DeHavilland, Beaver float plane. Nagagami Lake, site of Nagagami Lodge, is located approximately 30 air miles northwest of Hornepayne, ON, and is accessible only by air.
